Resolution on being invited to participate in the International Forum on Intellectual Property and Scientific and Technological Progress
The General Assembly ,
Guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and stressing in this regard the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples,
"Intellectual Property Rights" includes:
-- rights in literary, artistic and scientific works;
-- rights of performing artists in respect of performances, recordings and broadcasts;
-- The right to invent in all fields;
-- The right to scientific discovery;
-- rights concerning the designs of industrial products;
-- Rights related to trademarks, service marks, manufacturer names, and logos;
-- Right to stop unfair competition;
and all other rights deriving from intellectual activity in the industrial, scientific, literary or artistic fields.
